For #MommysManiMonday today, our theme was Combined Styles - do a mani with something you love and something you hate. I love marbles and gradients. You’ll have to check out the full post to see what my dislike was! :) www.nailslikelace.com This mani used two #Avon polishes and @PrettyWomanNYC Watermelon. #prettywoman #prettywomannyc #prettywomanusa #nailslikelace

My final @kkcenterhkcom review this time is of @chinaglazeofficial Man Hunt. It is such a gorgeous blue!! For all the details and my thoughts, check out my post on this polish! www.nailslikelace.com. I added some #FunkyFingers glitter to the tips too just because I thought they’d look cute together, but didn’t want to do a traditional accent glitter nail, or cover the entire nail with it. 😘

I’ve been MIA for the past few days, but I’m back now with a guest post from @craftynail! www.nailslikelace.com for more details about the mani she created! A million thank you’s to Jacqui for posting for me while I was gone! 😘 I’ll probably be pretty quiet for the next few weeks still, because we are moving soon, but I hope you all stick around to see how my brand new polish room turns out!! ☺️

For #TwinsieTuesday today, we did one-stroke flowers. I definitely still need more practice with this technique, but I’m not too horribly disappointed in the outcome. #nailslikelace

Update: I KIND OF got the Miracle Gels to work finally. The color still takes an hour to dry with each extremely thin coat, but I layered in Seche Vite and that has seemed to help quite a bit. They’re also not 2 coaters. To get them to actually mostly dry, I had to do the coats so thin that I needed 4 on the pink and 3 for the blue. Plus they ended up getting pretty thick with Seche after every coat of color. The Miracle Gel topcoat is worthless. I tried finishing off with it after I let the blue dry overnight, and then still had to add an additional coat of Seche over the Gel tc to force it to dry. Now that I’ve let them “cure”… The blue is pretty much good to go. It is still dentable, but I have to press hard. I finished the pink (no Gel tc, just Seche) an hour ago, and it is dry to the touch, still easily dentable but not nearly as bad as it was without the Seche. And direct sunlight is making absolutely no difference for me with them. They do seem to seal to the nail really well though. Final opinion: not worth it. Too expensive for something regular polish will do better. #nailslikelace #sallyhansen #miraclegel #sallyhansenmiraclegel

Doesn’t it suck, opening your cuticle balm and… Um… Ew what is this $#*¥ and wtf happened?! Your cuticle balm is not ruined! It has just gotten warm, forming little beads. It does have a little bit of a grainy feel if you try to use it like this though. I have a very easy, no-mess way to fix it without depotting the product or mixing it up. If your balm is in a metal container, just place it, opened, on a candle warmer (DO NOT MICROWAVE IT) until it is completely melted (mine took about 10 minutes), then let it solidify and it’s good as new. If your balm is in a plastic jar, stick it the microwave at 10 second intervals until it is completely melted, and let it resoidify. Enjoy your once again perfectly smooth cuticle balm! Shown here is the @badgerbalm cuticle balm. #badgerbalm#nailslikelace

This was an hour after applying one of @sally_hansen’s new Miracle Gel polishes. Why, #SallyHansen, why? Why do you hate me? I’ve been fighting with this crap and the other color I got ALL EVENING! I’ve tried each color in a few different ways and nothing is working. They are not drying. REFUSING! No matter what I do. 😑😑😑😑😑
